Listening to music is an activity I never tire of, and it almost always brings people together. While I love that iTunes allows you to quickly purchase songs, sometimes I just can’t justify shelling out $1.29 per song, and other times I just plain old don’t know what it is I feel like listening to. While Pandora has been most people’s online radio staple for some time now, there’s a new kid in town: Songza.
I am obsessed with Songza. O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D. If you have no clue what I am talking about, stop everything you are doing and go to Songza.com or download Songza from the App Store. I promise you that Songza will change the way you listen to music in the most wonderful of ways.
Songza differs from Pandora in that it allows you to choose songs based on specific activities you are engaging in or based on your current mood. Having a Girls Night Out? There’s a playlist for that. Unwinding after work? There’s a playlist for that. Feeling introspective? There’s a playlist for that too. And there’s a playlist for so much more.
Not only can you choose music based on moods and activities, there are playlists for different decades as well as genre-specific playlists. Songza thought of everything.
The app makes listening to music even more fun, if that was even possible, by making it like a game for its users. Plus, to top things off, the service is free to use. What more could you ask for?!
So, check out Songza and prepare to have your musical mind blown.
